Slime Care
🌟 Keeping Your Slime Happy!
Slime loves to stay cool and comfy. Please don’t keep it near heaters, radiators, or direct sunlight — heat can make slime melt or turn sticky.
If your slime arrives a bit sticky, don’t worry! Follow the slime care card instructions or message me anytime — I’m always happy to help.
🤲 My slime is sticky!
Don’t panic — this is super easy to fix!
-
Mix the borax powder from your “extras” cone with 250ml of warm water.
-
Add the activator very slowly, a few drops at a time.
-
Gently knead it in between each addition.
✨ Important:
Borax is powerful! Adding too much can over-activate your slime and change its texture. Always make sure each bit is fully mixed in before adding more.
🧊 My slime is hard or rippy
If your slime feels stiff or tears when stretched, it’s probably too cold.
Try:
-
Moving it somewhere warmer in your home
-
Letting it warm up in your hands
-
Or, very carefully, microwave it for 10 seconds at a time, repeating as needed
-
Children under 10 should ask an adult for help.
-
😢 I left my slime uncovered… oops
It happens! If your slime has dried out a little:
-
Add a small amount of lotion and massage it in slowly until you reach your desired texture
-
(Note: scented lotion can change the slime’s scent!)
-
-
You can also warm it briefly in the microwave for 10 seconds at a time
-
Children under 10 should ask an adult for help.

❄️ Cloud slime snow fallout
Snow fallout is totally normal — and easy to fix!
Just massage a generous blob of lotion into the slime, fluff it up, and drizzle.
If it still falls apart, add a little more lotion until it feels right.
✨ Cloud slimes don’t last as long as other types, but adding lotion can extend their life. Sadly, they won’t last forever (we wish they did!).
